The symposium will take place in the Department of Theatre, Film and Television of the University of York, UK, which is allocated in Heslington Campus East.

 

The city of York is one of the most beautiful in the United Kingdom. It is privileged by its well preserved history, which dates from the Roman era. The city counts with most of its fortified wall, the York Minster, The Shambles, more than 365 pubs and many local attractions.
 

Arriving to the venue:
 

Car: York is situated midway between Edinburgh and London, just 20 minutes from the M1/M62 motorway network, York is within comfortable driving times of most regions in the UK. To make your trip to York even more convenient, six Park & Ride sites currently operate both in York and campus.

Train: York is easily connected by train with many important cities in the country. The train takes two hours from London, two hours and a half from Edinburgh and it is connected to other cities in the north trough the Transpennine Express, which runs between Newcastle and Liverpool.

The campus is easily accessible from the York Rail Station and city centre by bus. The Your Bus number 66 connects campus with the rest of the city. It runs every 10 minutes and takes between 20-30 min from the station to the TFTV bus stop.
